Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spunk Guzzler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reynaldo Barber!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barber displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guzzler.
A right-left combo lands from Barber.
It looks like Spunk Guzzler has been cut.
Guzzler misses with a takedown attempt
and Barber cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Guzzler sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Barber lands a head shot.
Barber circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Guzzler drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Barber follows Guzzler to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reynaldo Barber!
