Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Figueson Deiveiredo (ranked 317 p4p, 925 weight class) and Ritanzo Benzo (ranked 39 p4p, 95 weight class). Deiveiredo comes to the cage accompanied by Mission Impossible - Adam Clayton. On his way into the cage it seems that Figueson Deiveiredo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Figueson Deiveiredo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ritanzo Benzo!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deiveiredo throws a combination. Benzo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Deiveiredo misses with a hook. Benzo ducked under it nicely.
Deiveiredo cracks a nice hook into Benzo's ribs.
A big right from Benzo misses.
Figueson Deiveiredo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Deiveiredo lands a nice shot to the body.

and Benzo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Deiveiredo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Benzo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Deiveiredo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Deiveiredo avoids a kick to the body.
Deiveiredo throwing a counter right hand but Benzo manages to avoid it.
Deiveiredo drops Benzo with a beautiful combination! Benzo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Deiveiredo is looking for the KO!
Benzo is rocked!
Benzo glances at the clock... BAM! Deiveiredo nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Benzo crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Benzo is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Figueson Deiveiredo!
During a confident post fight interview, Figueson Deiveiredo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
