Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akhmet Goktepe (ranked 3100 p4p, 3800 weight class) and Jasper Shaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goktepe has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Shaffer takes one on the button.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaffer has eaten all the pies!
Shaffer darts in looking for a takedown but Goktepe gets double underhooks and turns Shaffer into the cage.
Nice sprawl there from Goktepe as Shaffer shoots in.
Goktepe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shaffer sprawling to the canvas! Shaffer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Goktepe finish him?!
Goktepe pounces like a tiger and cracks Shaffer with a vicious hook! Shaffer is down but not out! Goktepe follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Akhmet Goktepe!
A relieved looking Akhmet Goktepe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
