Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23040 p4p, 23043 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clifford Val Salvacion has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 61 - 55 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 85 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Salvacion is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Amiga tightens his grip and picks Salvacion up, before dumping him to the ground. Salvacion manages to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it.
Amiga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Salvacion is controlling Amiga's trapped leg to prevent Amiga from advancing to side control.
Salvacion is looking to control Amiga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salvacion avoid being mounted?
Amiga thows a huge punch but Salvacion dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amiga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Amiga is staying tight to Salvacion's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Amiga, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
