Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoki Inoue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mikael Li!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Li manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Inoue on his heels. He'll look to pass Inoue's guard now, I'm sure.
Inoue knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.
Inoue working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Li doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Li manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Li won't allow Inoue to sweep him here.
Inoue lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Inoue will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Inoue looking to sit in guard and control but Li gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Li avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li is stalling in the full guard.
Inoue has his foot on Li's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Li works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Inoue is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Li defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inoue is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Inoue is breathing heavily.
Li postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Li forces his way into half guard.
Li wants to lay and pray for a moment but Inoue keeps working.
Li frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Li is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Li wants to control the pace but Inoue is squirming around nicely.
Inoue is looking to improve his position but Li isn't that keen on the idea.
Inoue is trying to escape the mount but Li keeps good control and instead manages to take Inoue's back.
Inoue won't enjoy being in this position. Li looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Inoue is tapping - it's over boys! Li picks up the submission victory!
