Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Nye (ranked 2950 p4p, 3403 weight class) and Mukhtar Mihailovic (ranked 339 p4p, 390 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nye tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mihailovic takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nye scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Mukhtar Mihailovic has been cut.
Mihailovic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nye sprawls well initially but Mihailovic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nye moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

so Mihailovic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mihailovic keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nye's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mihailovic drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mihailovic as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nye screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mihailovic! Nice submission victory there!

Mukhtar Mihailovic got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
