Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Shakespeare (ranked 729 p4p, 510 weight class) and Harrison Kiely (ranked 99 p4p, 70 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robbie Shakespeare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Kiely! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shakespeare blocks a jab. A left lands for Kiely. Kiely connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Shakespeare's hands. Kiely slips under a jab. Shakespeare throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kiely counters with a right hand to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by Kiely or perhaps it was just good defense by Shakespeare, which made it look bad. Kiely throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Robbie Shakespeare has been cut. Shakespeare has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Shakespeare misses with a right hand and Kiely counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shakespeare rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kiely counters with a stiff right hand. Kiely swings for the body but Shakespeare moves out of range.
Robbie Shakespeare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Shakespeare does no damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shakespeare swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kiely changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kiely pushes Shakespeare up against the cage in a clinch. A short body shot lands from Kiely as the two fighters clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiely scores with a nice hook to the head. Shakespeare is looking to break free of the clinch but Kiely has double underhooks. Kiely lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kiely holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kiely scores with a shoulder strike. Kiely lands with a light punch inside. Kiely lands with a light punch inside. Kiely tries a body shot but Shakespeare blocks it.
Shakespeare pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kiely feints a jab promting Shakespeare to slip. Kiely then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shakespeare slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Shakespeare takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kiely listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Shakespeare misses with a body shot.
Kiely closes the distance and pushes Shakespeare back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shakespeare blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The referee calls for Kiely to work.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kiely. Shakespeare's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kiely shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shakespeare eats them both and turns towards Kiely to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Shakespeare walks into a jab. Kiely pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Shakespeare back to the cage. Kiely follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A telegraphed right hand from Shakespeare misses the target. Kiely drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shakespeare defends it well. Shakespeare pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Shakespeare throws a right hand that misses
and Kiely counters with a series of strikes. Shakespeare will be more careful next time no doubt. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kiely!
Nice uppercut there from Kiely. Shakespeare throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiely throws a combination. Shakespeare tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kiely lands with a nice body punch. Shakespeare throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kiely counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiely wants to pass to mount but Shakespeare is defending the position. Kiely moves into full mount! Shakespeare won't be happy about that! Kiely takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Shakespeare on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shakespeare tries to get out of the position. Kiely looking to secure an arm triangle but Shakespeare defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kiely controlling his opponent. Shakespeare wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Kiely looking to isolate an arm here. Shakespeare doesn't see it coming and as Kiely extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Kiely!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Harrison Kiely! A relieved looking Harrison Kiely thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
