Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bingus Khan (ranked 1495 p4p, 2800 weight class) and Rohan Peters (ranked 179 p4p, 312 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bingus Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rohan Peters! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan avoids the body shot from Peters.
It looked like Khan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Peters works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Khan tries for a takedown but Peters sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Khan needs to keep his hands up - Peters had a free shot at his head there. Peters lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Khan looks to land a combination. Peters sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Peters slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peters misses with a hook. Khan ducked under it nicely. Khan fails with the takedown and Peters counters with a nice body shot. Khan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Peters manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peters tries to land a sweep but no joy. Khan being controlled here momentarily. Khan preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters managing to control the position. Peters is trying to keep Khan in close.
Peters is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khan is controlling him. Peters looking to control.
Peters pulls Khan in close to his closed guard and prevents Khan from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Khan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Khan staying out of range there. Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peters moves away. Khan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Peters is pulling down on Khan's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters trying to keep a closed guard but Khan is proving a slippery customer.
Peters being controlled here, momentarily. Peters seems keen to control Khan's posture. Peters not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.
Khan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Khan looks to throw the jab but Peters is out of range. Khan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Peters. Khan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peters.
Peters throws a jab but it's blocked by Khan. Peters takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses. Peters jabs at Khan's body. Peters misses with a wild body shot. A jab from Peters finds it's way through Khan's defenses. Peters throws the left hand but Khan avoids the punch easily. Khan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peters is fending him off so far but Khan persists. Nope, Peters circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bingus Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Khan darts in looking for a takedown but Peters gets double underhooks and turns Khan into the cage. Peters taking a breather. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Khan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Peters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Khan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peters thuds a left hand into Khan's body. Rohan Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peters throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it. Peters scores with a nice strike. Khan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Khan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Khan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Peters takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Peters throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range. Khan fails to land the takedown. A combination from Khan does no damage. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Peters! But no joy. Khan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Peters counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rohan Peters dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Peters throws a lazy right hand but Khan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bingus Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Khan throws a nice looking combination but Peters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Khan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Peters tries to get to full guard but Khan has control of the leg. Peters keeps trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peters is looking to control Khan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Peters avoid being mounted? Khan stands up and beckons Peters to join him on the feet. Khan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peters.

Khan fails with the takedown. Horrible takedown attempt by Khan or perhaps it was just good defense by Peters, which made it look bad. Khan lands the left hand. Khan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peters swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bingus Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peters. Peters lands with a shot to the body. Rohan Peters seems to be getting the better of the standup. Khan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Khan throws a body punch but Peters moves out of range. Peters lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Peters fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peters throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Khan scores with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan shoots in for a takedown but Peters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Peters loads up on a big right hand but Khan slips the punch. Khan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khan showed some decent athleticism there. Peters tries to roll over but Khan keeps him under control. Khan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Peters misses the shot to the body. Khan ducks under a wild hook from Peters. Peters swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.

Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peters tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peters to the ground. Peters escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Khan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Peters, as that shot connected.
Khan tries for a takedown but Peters sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Peters scores with the left hand. Khan knows he should have avoided that one. Khan takes one to the chin there. Khan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Peters has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Khan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peters did well to prevent Khan getting side control. Khan prevents Peters from improving his position. Peters felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Peters trying to control here.
Peters wants to get back to full guard but Khan has passed into side control. Peters struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters is looking for a sweep. Khan taking a breather here. Peters regains half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peters wants to control but Khan is keeping busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Rohan Peters will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Peters throws a looping overhand right but Khan ducks down to avoid it. Peters works the jab nicely. Khan is looking to wear down Peters with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A punch lands to the side of Peters 's head but he takes it in his stride. Khan misses with a body shot.
A little jabbing left from Peters on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Peters throws a good cross that connects.
Peters drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Khan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Peters as he jumps to the side. Khan blocks a jab. Khan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Peters sprawls and moves away. No joy there for Khan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Peters uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khan. A countering left hand to the body from Peters misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. and Khan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peters's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peters pulls Khan in close to prevent any damage. Peters is continuing to stall.

Peters pulls Khan in close to his closed guard and prevents Khan from doing any damage or advancing position. Peters is looking to stand up but Khan isn't so interested in that idea. Peters has control of Khan's left arm, preventing Khan from doing any damage. Peters wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Khan is now in half guard. Peters wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Peters is trying is best to control the position here. Bingus Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peters trying to hold on to Khan's head to control him but Khan postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters wants to hold on but Khan pushes him away. Peters gets back to half guard. Peters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khan is working away from the top position though. Peters moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Peters trying to keep a closed guard but Khan is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan won't allow Peters to sweep him here. Peters looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Khan preventing the sweep. Khan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Peters, up you get! Khan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Khan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Peters. Bingus Khan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khan needs to keep his hands up - Peters had a free shot at his head there. Khan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peters tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Khan easily slips into full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Bingus Khan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Peters has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
