Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Covid Gonna Get (ranked 2323 p4p, 2439 weight class) and Hank McCoy (ranked 285 p4p, 297 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonna Get looks for a takedown but McCoy sprawls well.
It seemed like McCoy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice sprawl there from McCoy as Gonna Get shoots in.
McCoy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Gonna Get shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McCoy sprawls well. McCoy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gonna Get gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonna Get throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCoy's waist but McCoy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gonna Get off to one side.
A little jabbing left from McCoy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Gonna Get has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight.
McCoy lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gonna Get head around and knocks him out cold! McCoy hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hank McCoy!
