Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sauli Heilimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakaw Pramuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buakaw Pramuk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heilimo fails with a takedown attempt.
Pramuk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Heilimo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Heilimo moves nicely into side control.
Heilimo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Pramuk!

Pramuk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Heilimo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Heilimo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pramuk is surviving well by controlling Heilimo's body position as best he can.

Heilimo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Heilimo has hold of Pramuk's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pramuk manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Heilimo is breathing heavily.
Pramuk is wriggling around trying to escape.
Heilimo avoids the attempt from Pramuk to control.

Heilimo is going olschool here, as he tries to force Pramuk to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pramuk shrugs it off.
Heilimo breaks from Pramuk's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Pramuk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Heilimo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pramuk is on top in guard.
Pramuk wants to control from the top but Heilimo keeps moving.
Pramuk wanted to stand there but Heilimo had control of the position.

Pramuk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Heilimo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Heilimo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pramuk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pramuk moves in looking to clinch but Heilimo pushes him off.
Pramuk fails with the takedown

so Heilimo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Heilimo advances to half guard.

Heilimo is looking for a kimura but Pramuk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Heilimo to get the leverage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Heilimo seems to be working for a kimura but Pramuk defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pramuk shoots in looking for a takedown. Heilimo tries to sprawl out of it but Pramuk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Heilimo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heilimo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Heilimo passes Pramuk's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Heilimo wants to take a breather but Pramuk is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Heilimo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pramuk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Heilimo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pramuk is surviving well by controlling Heilimo's body position as best he can.

Heilimo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pramuk has worked his arm free - good work by Pramuk!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heilimo is working to tighten is grip on Pramuk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pramuk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Heilimo is really squeezing tight and eventually Pramuk passes out! Heilimo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
