Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Teofomo Laurez (ranked 1203 p4p, 1496 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 38 p4p, 49 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teofomo Laurez !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbados Slim!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Slim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slim misses with a hook
and Laurez counters with a thumping low kick.
The fighters circling - Slim throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Slim thows a left - swing and a miss!
Laurez tries to land a leg kick but Slim saw it coming and moves away.
Laurez looks to land a right hand but Slim moved out of range.

Laurez dodges the punch combination from Slim.
A quick step to the side and Laurez tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laurez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Casa Steel in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laurez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

It looked like Laurez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Slim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Laurez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Slim. That did some damage!

and Slim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slim tries to clinch but Laurez moves away
and Laurez counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Slim takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Slim walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Barbados Slim has been cut.

As Slim backs away, Laurez returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Laurez throws a quick counter kick to the body but Slim avoids it.
Barbados Slim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laurez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slim lands with a kick to the temple. Laurez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Slim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Laurez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slim.
Slim throws a body kick that misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Barbados Slim will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Laurez 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Laurez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A low kick lands for Slim.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Laurez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Slim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Slim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Slim clinches up with Laurez and pushes him back against the ropes.
Laurez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slim has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Slim has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Laurez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Laurez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Slim's knee momentarily.

Laurez cracks Slim with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Slim throws the kick towards the body but Laurez avoids it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Laurez was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Slim moves in looking to clinch but Laurez pushes him off.

Slim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Laurez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Slim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Laurez lands with a hook. Slim tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Laurez lands a head kick that sends Slim down! Slim is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Laurez is victorious!
