The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a combination that misses
and Hobbs counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hobbs won't allow Hunter to get back to his feet.
Hunter scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hunter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hunter throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hobbs keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hunter.
Hobbs with the counter takedown but Hunter avoids it easily.
Hunter lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hobbs is rocked!
Hunter throws a pinpoint strike between Hobbs's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hobbs crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Hunter scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roy Hunter!
