Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viggo Oglislav! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Travis Oneill! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oglislav displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Oglislav lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Danga de danga de dang - Oglislav scores with a four punch combination! Oneill gets the takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oneill swings around for an armbar but Oglislav sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Oneill's guard. Oglislav will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Oglislav throws a strike but Oneill rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oneill throwing strikes but missing. Oneill throws a strike but Oglislav rolls with it and manages to sweep. Viggo Oglislav dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Oglislav slips under a jab. Oneill scores with a takedown into Oglislav's guard. Oneill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Oglislav works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Oneill controls from within his opponent's guard. Oglislav preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Oneill stands up over Oglislav, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oglislav is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Oneill not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oneill wants to control from the top but Oglislav keeps moving.

Oglislav can't keep his opponent in guard - Oneill advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Oneill landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Oneill is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Oneill content to control rather than advance. Oglislav has hold of Oneill's hands but Oneill slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oneill not landing any meaningful shots this time. Oneill wants to work for an arm triangle but Oglislav is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Oglislav is trying to maintain the position but Oneill is very close to passing his half guard. Oneill tries to pass to full mount but Oglislav defends it. Oneill is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Oneill controlling the action here. Oneill has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oneill prevents Oglislav from improving his position. Oneill is taking a breather. Oglislav says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Oneill is looking for a kimura here.
Oneill is figuring out what he wants to do next. Oneill is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Oglislav still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Oglislav has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Oneill lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Oneill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oneill is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Oneill connects with a nice short shot to Oglislav's temple. Oneill lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Oneill lands a nice short elbow. Oneill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Oneill is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Oglislav is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
