Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Everett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Massiel Tomás!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomás scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jake Everett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tomás takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Everett tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Tomás manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Everett looks to land a right hand but Tomás moved out of range.

Tomás has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Everett finds it's way round the side to connect with Tomás's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tomás might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
