Alvarez stuns Magomedsharipov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Alvarez works the jab nicely.
Alvarez connects with the punch.
Alvarez works over Magomedsharipov's head and body with a nice combination.
A punch lands to the side of Magomedsharipov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Alvarez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ricky Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Magomedsharipov. Magomedsharipov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Magomedsharipov is rocked!

Alvarez throws a series of punches but Magomedsharipov avoids them all with ease.
Alvarez rushes Magomedsharipov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Magomedsharipov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Alvarez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alvarez throws a left that rocks Magomedsharipov and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Alvarez dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Magomedsharipov regain composure!
Oh Magomedsharipov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alvarez decides to stand back up. Alvarez steps back and let's Magomedsharipov get back to his feet.
Magomedsharipov seems to have got his legs back now.
