Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vic Romano (ranked 86 p4p, 304 weight class) and Rickson Caceres (ranked 11 p4p, 48 weight class). Romano comes into the arena with MXC Most Extreme Challenge blaring out of the sound system. Rickson Caceres will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vic Romano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rickson Caceres! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romano throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Caceres on the side of the head.
Romano clinches. Romano throws a punch but it's blocked by Caceres. Our sources have told us that Romano has been working on his elbows in the gym. Caceres is trying to pull guard but Romano has him pressed against the cage. Romano lands an elbow inside that Caceres shrugs off. Caceres tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Romano just stands there and leans against the cage.
Romano pulls guard successfully.
Romano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Romano keeping full guard, as Caceres tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romano is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Romano wants to pass the guard but Caceres is defending well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Romano lands a nice short elbow.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Caceres is pressing down on Romano's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Romano is looking to work some ground and pound but Caceres has wrist control. Romano throws an elbow that misses. Caceres uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Romano's guard. Nice move by Caceres!
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caceres slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Caceres in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Romano is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rickson Caceres! Rickson Caceres decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. The defeated Vic Romano had this to say: 'DON'T. GET. ELIMINATEDDD!!!'.
