Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Silva (ranked 2226 p4p, 3439 weight class) and Booger Magee (ranked 265 p4p, 378 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Alex Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alex Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

I was talking to Silva's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

As Magee tries to get set, Silva tries to push him back and clinch up but Magee manages to avoid the attempt.

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Magee wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Silva seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oooooh!!! Magee has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Magee steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Magee pushes him off.
Magee stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
OH! Silva has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Magee smells blood and charges in for the finish! Magee unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Silva sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Booger Magee!
