Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Gudmundsson (ranked 984 p4p, 1291 weight class) and Muharib Xornimada (ranked 95 p4p, 118 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gudmundsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All It Takes - Karnivool. The key to victory for Oskar Gudmundsson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Muharib Xornimada!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Gudmundsson.
Gudmundsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Xornimada.
A jab from Gudmundsson does it's job there.
Xornimada is rocked!
Xornimada gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gudmundsson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Xornimada backwards.
Xornimada tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Xornimada misses with a punch on the inside.
Xornimada has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gudmundsson uses from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xornimada tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Xornimada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gudmundsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Xornimada looking for a guillotine here but Gudmundsson defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Xornimada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gudmundsson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gudmundsson is stalling in the full guard.
Xornimada has his feet on Gudmundsson's thighs here. He's pushed Gudmundsson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gudmundsson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Muharib Xornimada is the new featherweight champion!
A relieved looking Muharib Xornimada thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
