Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juliusz Binkowski (ranked 1726 p4p, 2581 weight class) and Kyrie James (ranked 132 p4p, 176 weight class). Binkowski comes to the cage accompanied by WalkÄ™ Mamy we Krwi. James has chosen ALESTORM - Shipwrecked as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juliusz Binkowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyrie James! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Binkowski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in James's half guard. Binkowski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Binkowski trying to control from half guard but James is working away. James makes his way to full guard. A much better position for James. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Binkowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Binkowski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Binkowski is looking for a kimura but James is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Binkowski to get the leverage. James tries to roll over but Binkowski keeps him under control. James tries to get back to half guard but can't. James tries to lock up and control but Binkowski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Binkowski has hold of James's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and James manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Binkowski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as James is looking to escape. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

James isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Binkowski stacks James on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Binkowski! A lull in the action here. You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. James sneaks back into half guard.
