Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riziki Bara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Ford!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bara shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ford's guard.
Bara passes into half guard.
Ford is controlling Bara's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Ford regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ford looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bara passes into side control.
Ford wants to control but Bara postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ford is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bara tries to pass to full mount but Ford defends it.

Ford is looking to get back to full guard here but Bara has managed to pass to side control instead.
Ford looking for a sweep but Bara has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Ford is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bara moves to the back.
Bara is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ford has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Ford looking very determined here, making life difficult for Bara.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on Ford's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Bara seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Ford trying to control the hands but Bara breaks the grip.
Bara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ford trying to control the action but Bara just sinks the hooks in.

Bara is working for a rear naked choke. Ford is not defending it well and Bara has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Ford refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ford's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Riziki Bara!
A relieved looking Riziki Bara thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
