The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Drummond is just out of range.

Drummond throws out a loose jab but Makunouchi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Drummond moves into the clinch successfully.
Drummond keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Makunouchi's efforts to push away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Drummond is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Makunouchi is aware though and is defending well.

Drummond is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Makunouchi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Drummond doesn't seem bothered though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
