Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anabolic Asteroid (ranked 567 p4p, 954 weight class) and Justin Case (ranked 62 p4p, 109 weight class). Asteroid comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anabolic Asteroid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Case!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Asteroid pinned against the cage. Asteroid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Case tries to get set, Asteroid tries to push him back and clinch up but Case manages to avoid the attempt.
Case shoots in but no luck this time.
Asteroid is looking for a counter combo.
Asteroid connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Asteroid's corner calls for a 1-2. Asteroid obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Case tries to score a power double leg takedown but Asteroid sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Case somewhat.
Anabolic Asteroid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Case.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Case shoots in looking for a takedown. Asteroid tries to sprawl out of it but Case keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Asteroid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Case looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Case fails with the takedown
and Asteroid counters by moving into the clinch.
Asteroid swings wildly with an uppercut but Case uses good head movement to avoid it.
Case blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Case prevents a body shot from Asteroid.
Case gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Case working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Asteroid wants to stand up but Case is controlling him.
Case thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Asteroid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Case on the ground.

Asteroid utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Asteroid has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Case has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Asteroid throws a punch but it's blocked by Case.
Asteroid lands a right hand that snaps the head of Case backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A right handed body shot lands from Asteroid.
Asteroid lands a nice elbow.
Our sources have told us that Asteroid has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Asteroid lands an elbow just above Case 's eye.
Case manages to pull guard.
Case is trying to keep Asteroid in close.
Asteroid is fighting to break Case's control of his arms but Case is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Asteroid wants to stand but Case is controlling his posture from full guard.
Case seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Asteroid gets to his feet - Case follows without any prompting.
Justin Case seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Case shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Asteroid as he jumps to the side.

Asteroid stuffs the takedown.
Asteroid is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Case.

Case shoots for a double leg takedown but Asteroid sprawls well. He's pushed Case's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Asteroid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Case thinking.

It looks like Justin Case has been cut.

Case on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Case or perhaps it was just good defense by Asteroid, which made it look bad.
Asteroid is looking to counter punch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Asteroid stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Asteroid wants it to stay on the feet.
Asteroid tries to counter by clinching up but Case breaks away and moves out of range.

Case is still on wobbly legs! Can Asteroid finish him?
Case switches off momentarily and Asteroid cracks him with a monster right hand! Case topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Asteroid dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Asteroid!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anabolic Asteroid!
