The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orivarez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slaissi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Slaissi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A nice side step and Slaissi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

It looks like Salvador Orivarez has been cut.
Orivarez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slaissi rattles Orivarez with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Orivarez tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Slaissi dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Orivarez stiff and motionless on the mat!
