Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liu Xan (ranked 1887 p4p, 2081 weight class) and Datsuro Sato (ranked 153 p4p, 174 weight class). Datsuro Sato will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liu Xan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Datsuro Sato!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato looks to land a combination but Xan avoids it well.
Sato thuds his right hand into Xan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Xan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Xan moves away from the strike by Sato.
Sato misses with a double jab
and Xan counters with a stiff right hand.
Xan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sato was well out of range. Poor timing from Xan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sato lands with a right that hurts Xan. Xan looks to clinch but Sato throws a short knee that drops Xan. This one is all over!
