Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Wallace (ranked 1554 p4p, 2170 weight class) and Jude Donovan (ranked 187 p4p, 252 weight class). Jude Donovan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jude Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan stuns Wallace with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wallace connects with a crisp jab.

Wallace swings for the body but Donovan moves out of range.
Wallace avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Donovan darts in looking for a takedown but Wallace gets double underhooks and turns Donovan into the cage.
Donovan defending well as Wallace loads up on a big left hand.
Donovan clinches up with Wallace and pushes him back against the cage.
Wallace misses with a hook from the clinch.

Wallace lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Donovan tries to stall but Wallace uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Donovan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Donovan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wallace is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wallace lands with a short head shot on the inside.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Donovan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Donovan presses Wallace against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Donovan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wallace tries to bum rush Donovan with a series of wild strikes but Donovan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wallace throws a lazy uppercut
and Donovan counters with a shoot takedown. Wallace fights it but they end up in guard.
Donovan is looking to work some ground and pound but Wallace has wrist control.
Wallace on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wallace tries to get out of the position.
Wallace wants to stand and escape but Donovan is having none of it.
Donovan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wallace's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donovan postures up in Wallace's guard and throws a big left but Wallace blocks it.
Wallace wants to stand up but Donovan is controlling him.
Donovan cracks Wallace with a solid left hand.
Donovan chips away with some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Donovan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wallace is looking to stand back up but Donovan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Wallace.

Donovan is looking to advance position but Wallace won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Donovan swings for the body but Wallace moves out of range.
Wallace definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Donovan throws a sloppy body shot
and Wallace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Donovan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Donovan persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing.
Hector Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jude Donovan.
Donovan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Donovan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wallace moves into the clinch.
Donovan swings wildly with an uppercut but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Donovan misses with some punches.

Donovan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wallace struggles to land a body shot inside as Donovan controls his hands.
Donovan misses with a punch on the inside.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jude Donovan will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Donovan fails to land the takedown.

Wallace ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wallace's corner calls for a 1-2. Wallace obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wallace is looking to counter the offense by Donovan and move into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donovan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wallace pushes Donovan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Donovan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

A big shot lands for Donovan! That's hurt Wallace! Will he recover? Donovan fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Jude Donovan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bloodbath MMA Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
