Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yngwie Goransson (ranked 1931 p4p, 2228 weight class) and Nathan Sanford (ranked 248 p4p, 272 weight class). Yngwie Goransson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yngwie Goransson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Sanford!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Goransson.
Sanford shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Goransson's guard.
Sanford postures up in Goransson's guard and throws a big left but Goransson blocks it.
Sanford got a little sloppy there for a moment and Goransson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanford has managed to get both his arms back between Goransson's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goransson wants to sweep here but Sanford controlling him for the moment.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sanford working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Goransson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goransson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sanford has picked Goransson up and slammed him! Goransson can't keep hold of the triangle and Sanford manages to pass to side control!
