Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tim Holmberg!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmberg tests Kong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Holmberg swings for the body but Kong moves out of range.
Kong moves out of range of the strikes.
Holmberg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Holmberg staying out of range there.
Kong avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A lazy left from Holmberg finds it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmberg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kong.
Holmberg steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kong.
Holmberg cracks Kong with a good jab.
Kong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Tim Holmberg has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Holmberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holmberg lands a jab to Kong's midsection.
Holmberg misses with a hook
and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
No joy there for Holmberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've been told by Kong's head coaches at Sydney Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Holmberg fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kong walks into a straight right hand from Holmberg.
Holmberg looks to land a left hand but Kong moved out of range nicely.
Holmberg throws a lazy uppercut
and Kong counters with a head kick that drops Holmberg to the mat! Holmberg scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Holmberg is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmberg throws a poor cross that misses
and Kong counters with a right hand from hell and Holmberg is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Kong!
