2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, marco ramos! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ramos misses with a hook. ramos throws a right and a left that both miss. Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and ramos moves out of range easily. Anderson moves out of range as ramos strikes. Anderson slips under a jab from ramos. ramos fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Anderson on the side of the head.
It looks like Chris Anderson has been cut. Anderson drives through and clinches with ramos against the cage.
ramos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Anderson tries to score a body lock takedown but ramos shows good agility there to stay on his feet. ramos manages to break the clinch.
ramos moves into the clinch successfully.
Anderson manages to pull guard.
Anderson looking for a guillotine here but ramos defends easily.
Anderson is looking to sweep but instead, ramos has passed into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Anderson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is looking for a triangle but ramos pushes his legs off easily.
ramos passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson tries to bench press ramos off him but ramos keeps the position. Anderson is working to avoid the ground and pound but ramos connects with a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Anderson tries to reverse the position but ramos maintains control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Anderson tries to lock up and control but ramos gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. ramos with good strikes from the mount here! Anderson taking shots to the head.
Chris Anderson's cut is getting worse. ramos postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Anderson looks a forlorn figure.
ramos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anderson is breathing heavily. ramos prevents Anderson from getting the reversal. ramos lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Anderson hang on?
