Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Marsh (ranked 4395 p4p, 2598 weight class) and Lee Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marsh's entrance music is Morning Musume - Love Revolution 21. A fine choice. Daniel Marsh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lee Chan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Chan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan doesn't manage to clinch there - Marsh circles away.
Marsh takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Marsh tests Chan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Chan wants to clinch up but Marsh keeps it at a distance. Marsh is looking to counter punch. A head kick misses from Chan. Chan misses with a head kick.
Chan staying out of range there. Chan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marsh. Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marsh paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marsh shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Good standup being displayed there by Marsh as he connects with a hook. Chan blocks a jab. Chan tries to counter with a clinch but Marsh shakes him off and moves away. Marsh throws a big shot that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chan ducks under a wild hook from Marsh. Chan tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Marsh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chan's head. Marsh lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marsh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chan scores with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marsh. Marsh throws a body shot but no joy. We've been told by Marsh's head coaches at Kitano Fight Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Marsh lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Chan takes a swing at Marsh's ribcage but misses. Marsh throws a hook but Chan blocks it. A slow jab from Marsh misses its intended target. Chan raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Marsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Chan. Chan fails in his attempt to clinch. Chan misses with a head kick.
Chan looks to clinch and Marsh counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A looping hook to the body misses from Marsh. Chan does a little dance to reset his feet. Chan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Chan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marsh. Marsh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Marsh tries to land a leg kick but Chan saw it coming and moves away.
Chan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan staying out of range there. A swing and a miss from Marsh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chan moves away from the strike by Marsh. Chan is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Chan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Marsh looks to throw the jab but Chan is out of range. Marsh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A jab from Marsh finds it's way through Chan's defenses. Marsh works Chan's body with a nice hook. Marsh throws an off balance right hand
and Chan counters with a low kick, right behind Marsh 's knee. A big left from Marsh misses. Marsh sets himself, and Chan steps forward looking for the clinch! Marsh avoids it this time. Chan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Marsh throws a jab but it's blocked by Chan. Chan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Marsh throws the left hand but Chan avoids the punch easily. Chan takes a swing at Marsh's ribcage but misses. Nice shot lands for Marsh. Chan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh throws out a loose jab but Chan uses good head movement to avoid it. Marsh looks to score with a jab to the body but Chan is just out of range. Marsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marsh jabbing away but nothing is landing. Marsh throws out a leg kick but Chan moves out of range and Marsh only half commits. Marsh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Chan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Marsh takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Chan drives through and clinches with Marsh against the cage.

Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marsh paws at him with a jab and circles away. It looked like Marsh wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Marsh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Chan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marsh. Marsh scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Chan throws a head kick that misses. Chan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marsh is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Marsh there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chan tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Marsh lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Marsh is looking to score with low kicks. Marsh sets himself, and Chan steps forward looking for the clinch! Marsh avoids it this time. Marsh works the jab nicely. Marsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marsh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chan was well out of range. Poor timing from Marsh. A slow jab from Marsh misses its intended target. The fight stays on the outside here - Chan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chan wants to slow Marsh down by chopping away at his legs. Marsh avoids the head kick by Chan.
Marsh lands a really nice looking cross but Chan seems unphased.
Chan blocks a jab. Chan wants to counter the offense by Marsh and move into the clinch position. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marsh throws a looping overhand right but Chan ducks down to avoid it. Marsh scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chan in his tracks. Chan clinches up with Marsh and pushes him back against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Marsh dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Marsh misses with a wild body shot. Chan tries to counter by closing the distance. Marsh misses the jab. And Chan responds with a good body kick, but Marsh manages to step out the way in time. Chan throws a lazy head kick and Marsh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice defenses there by Chan. Marsh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chan can do to turn this around? Marsh throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A swing and a miss from Marsh. Daniel Marsh is winning the standup battle so far. Marsh swings for the body but Chan moves out of range.

Chan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice body punch from Marsh. Chan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chan takes one to the chin there.
Chan is rocked! Marsh lands a head shot. Chan is still on wobbly legs! Can Marsh finish him? Marsh cracks Chan with a hook to the temple - Chan is on wobbly legs here! Marsh swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Chan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Marsh wins by TKO!
