Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Stanton (ranked 3323 p4p, 25268 weight class) and Erich Fromm (ranked 352 p4p, 481 weight class). Urijah Stanton looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urijah Stanton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erich Fromm!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fromm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fromm lands a nice forearm strike.
Fromm in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Fromm content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fromm working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Fromm tries to move into full mount but can't pass Stanton's legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fromm remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Fromm wants to control but Stanton is keeping him busy.

Fromm lands a big left to the face of Stanton, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Fromm and another - Stanton is out! Fromm stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
