Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Kane (ranked 2222 p4p, 2910 weight class) and Herbert Justen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justen has chosen Super Chargers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Herbert Justen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herbert Justen! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justen looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well. A telegraphed right hand from Kane misses the target. Justen is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Kane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Justen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kane is looking to counter punch. Justen fails with the takedown. Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Justen tries to close the distance and clinch but Kane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kane connects with a jab. Kane looks to land a left hand but Justen moved out of range nicely. Justen tries to counter with a clinch but Kane shakes him off and moves away. Justen blocks a jab. Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Justen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Justen throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily. Kane swats away the attempt to clinch by Justen. Kane is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice cross by Kane. Justen shoots in but no luck this time. Harry Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbert Justen. Justen is looking to clinch. Justen ducks under a wild hook from Kane. Kane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The fighters circling - Kane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Justen tries to counter with a clinch but Kane shakes him off and moves away. Justen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Justen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Justen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Justen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Justen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Harry Kane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kane misses with a left hand and Justen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kane is breathing heavily. Kane slaps away a takedown attempt from Justen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Justen moves away from the strike by Kane. Justen misses with a series of wild punches.
Justen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Justen shoots for a double leg takedown but Kane sprawls well. He's pushed Justen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Justen.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kane throws a big shot that misses. Kane misses the shot to the body. Justen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Justen misses with a head kick.
Kane appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Justen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Justen looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Kane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kane throws a looping overhand right but Justen ducks down to avoid it. Justen fails with the takedown. Kane just misses with a punch to the body.

Kane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A head kick by Justen misses and Justen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Justen throws a head kick that misses. It looked like Kane wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kane throws a leg kick and Justen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane lands an uppercut. Kane tries to break the clinch but Justen is controlling the position. Justen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kane is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Justen to the mat. Justen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Justen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Our spies down at at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu inform us that Justen has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Kane throwing strikes but missing. Kane trying to control but Justen is working from the bottom. Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Justen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kane is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Justen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Kane dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Kane lands a lovely overhand right. Justen looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well. Justen avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kane eats them both and turns towards Justen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Justen blocks a leg kick. Justen pushes Kane up against the cage in a clinch. Kane is trying to force a seperation but Justen has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Justen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Justen working for a triangle but Kane defends it easily.

Kane misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are battling for position here. Justen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kane is looking to work some ground and pound but Justen has wrist control. Justen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kane defends it easily. Kane with a flurry of punches that miss. Harry Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Justen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Justen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kane postures up in Justen's guard and throws a big left but Justen blocks it. Kane throwing strikes but missing. Justen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kane throws a big right hand that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Justen is on top in guard.
Justen wants to pass the guard but Kane is keeping the position. Justen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Justen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kane is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Justen, into his guard.
Justen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Justen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between Justen's legs - danger averted. Kane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kane throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Justen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Justen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Kane dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Justen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kane throwing a counter right hand but Justen manages to avoid it. Justen slips a straight right by Kane. A slapping body kick lands there for Kane. Kane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A head kick misses from Justen. A slow jab from Kane misses its intended target. Kane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Justen. Justen shoots in for a takedown. Kane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Justen. Justen circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Justen blocks a jab. Justen staying out of range there. Kane lands a two punch combo.
Justen goes for a double leg but Kane avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kane continues to drive forward. Justen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center. A jab from Kane does it's job there. Kane misses with a body shot.
Justen raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Justen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Justen at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for Justen on that attempt. That kick from Kane tenderised Justen's leg. Justen is trying to keep his angry face on. Kane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kane looks to land a combination but Justen avoids it well. Justen darts in looking for a takedown but Kane gets double underhooks and turns Justen into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane misses with an uppercut. Kane's corner calls for a 1-2. Kane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Justen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kane to score with a decent uppercut. Kane misses with a straight left. Herbert Justen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Justen moves away. Nice defenses there by Kane. It looked like Kane was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Justen. Justen tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance. Justen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kane. Justen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side. Kane scores with a crisp jab that stopped Justen in his tracks. Justen staying out of range there. Kane looks to land a right hand but Justen moved out of range. Justen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Justen tries to clinch up and Justen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Justen circles away quickly and effectively. Justen tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance. Kane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harry Kane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane working hard to break the clinch. Justen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kane is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Justen. A left hand lands to the body for Kane.

And that's the end of the fight! Harry Kane showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kane, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
