Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Leao (ranked 390 p4p, 754 weight class) and Dredd Tatum (ranked 59 p4p, 103 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Leandro Leao has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Leandro Leao seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

and Leao counters by clinching up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tatum is rocked!
Leao creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tatum with a big uppercut! Tatum tries to clinch up but Leao pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tatum to the mat! Tatum covers up and Leao unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Leandro Leao!
After the fight, Leandro Leao was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
