Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yin Mao (ranked 287 p4p, 521 weight class) and Detritus Rubble (ranked 23 p4p, 45 weight class). Mao's entrance music is HonestKey- Pass. A fine choice. Rubble has chosen Flux Pavilion x Feed Me - Survive (feat. meesh) as his entrance music. Detritus Rubble told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yin Mao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Detritus Rubble!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rubble.
Mao checks a low kick from Rubble.
Rubble slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mao has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Temple of Fitness in the buildup to the fight.
Rubble throws out a powerful jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rubble, as that shot connected.

Rubble thuds his right hand into Mao's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mao moves out of range as Rubble strikes.
Rubble connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mao. Mao circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rubble fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mao manages to avoid it.
Rubble tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mao was well out of range. Poor timing from Rubble.
As Rubble looks to move away, Mao throws a big counter combo but Rubble just gets out of the way.

Mao is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rubble to keep the fight standing.

Rubble has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Mao seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Rubble can turn it around.

Rubble throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mao on the side of the head.

Detritus Rubble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rubble throws a jab but it's blocked by Mao.
Mao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rubble moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A little feinted left hand from Mao on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A left lands for Rubble.
Rubble throws out a loose jab but Mao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mao lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Mao misses the shot to the body.
Rubble looks to land a left hand but Mao moved out of range nicely.
Mao pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rubble throws a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mao shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rubble is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mao had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Mao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mao quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Rubble throws an overhand right that lands on Mao's shoulder, as Mao tries to avoid the shot.
Mao was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Rubble connects with a looping right hand.
The fighters circling - Rubble throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rubble misses with a straight left.
Mao throwing a counter right hand but Rubble manages to avoid it.

Mao looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Rubble drops Mao with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rubble follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Detritus Rubble!
Detritus Rubble bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Yin Mao spoke after the fight, saying 'Oh well, on to the next one!'.
