2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimura Supreme! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherk scores a takedown into full mount! Sherk breaks from Supreme's wrist control and lands an elbow. Sherk landing strikes, looking to finish! Supreme is squirming around, avoiding Sherk's attempts to control the action. Supreme is desperately trying to improve his position but Sherk has a good base and remains in mount. Supreme taking shots to the head. Supreme regains half guard. Supreme is trying to control but can't.
Sherk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sherk trying to pass the guard but Supreme defending well. Supreme blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sherk. Supreme taking some punishment here, with Sherk in his half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sherk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Supreme slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sherk is breathing heavily. Sherk won't allow Supreme to sweep him here. Sherk drops back looking for a leg! Supreme is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Supreme manages to kick Sherk off! Sherk jumps back into Supreme's guard. Supreme keeping moving, preventing Sherk from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Supreme is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sherk has his hands clasped together but Supreme extends an breaks Sherk's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Supreme.
