Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Goat Jones (ranked 1565 p4p, 2615 weight class) and Simon Vaughan (ranked 193 p4p, 299 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Goat Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Vaughan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Vaughan tries to clinch up.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vaughan shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones appears to be looking for a big counter.
Vaughan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vaughan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vaughan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Vaughan is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones wants to sweep here but Vaughan controlling him for the moment.
Jones has his foot on Vaughan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vaughan works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vaughan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vaughan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vaughan prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vaughan defends it easily.

Vaughan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Vaughan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jones's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Simon Vaughan!
