Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ribeiro Montferrano (ranked 3784 p4p, 3782 weight class) and Jacob Jabbs (ranked 0 p4p, 296 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ribeiro Montferrano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Jabbs!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbs misses with a series of wild punches.

Montferrano looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jabbs!

Montferrano is trying to get an arm triangle but Jabbs is defending well.
Montferrano just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montferrano tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Montferrano thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Montferrano is looking to take a break and control but Jabbs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Montferrano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jabbs, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Montferrano fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jabbs tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jabbs is trying to maintain the position but Montferrano is very close to passing his half guard.

Montferrano lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Jabbs throws a sloppy head kick and Montferrano moves out of range easily.

Montferrano gets tackled into the cage by Jabbs. Jabbs maintains the clinch.

Montferrano gets control of Jabbs's arms and successfully pulls guard. Montferrano will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Montferrano wants to control but Jabbs passes easily into half guard.

Jabbs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Montferrano keeps working.
Montferrano moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jabbs won't allow Montferrano to sweep him here.
Jabbs wants to pass the guard but Montferrano is keeping the position.

Jabbs seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Montferrano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Montferrano wants it to stay on the feet.

Jabbs darts in and clinches Montferrano up against the cage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Montferrano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jabbs moves away.
Montferrano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jabbs avoids it really well and circles away.
Jabbs is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Montferrano gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jabbs wants to get back to his feet but Montferrano is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jabbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montferrano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jabbs manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Montferrano manages to get himself to full guard.

Montferrano can't keep his opponent in guard - Jabbs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Montferrano regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jabbs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Montferrano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jabbs manages to get himself to full guard.


Jabbs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montferrano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montferrano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jacob Jabbs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Montferrano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jabbs gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Montferrano goes for a takedown attempt but Jabbs pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jabbs scores with a one two! Montferrano had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jabbs dives in for a single leg takedown but Montferrano sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jabbs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ribeiro Montferrano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Jabbs.

Montferrano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jabbs was covering up waiting for the punch and Montferrano finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Montferrano closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Montferrano unloads with some shots from mount but Jabbs bucks and avoids them well.
Montferrano tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jabbs is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
