These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alro throws a wild body kick that Robertson sees coming a mile off.
Alro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Robertson.
Robertson tries to move into range but Alro moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Robertson throws a series of punches but Alro avoids them all with ease.
Robertson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alro sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Robertson looks to land a combination but Alro avoids it well.

Alro has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Robertson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Robertson is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Alro! Robertson is out on his feet! Alro rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Robertson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Robertson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Juan Alro was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
