Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexey Turmarrov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 42 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dwight Shrute!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turmarrov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Turmarrov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shrute to the ground. Turmarrov is now in Shrute's guard.
Turmarrov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shrute keeping moving, preventing Turmarrov from controlling successfully.
Turmarrov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Turmarrov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Turmarrov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Turmarrov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Turmarrov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shrute utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Shrute is striking from the bottom but Turmarrov uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turmarrov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Shrute wants to control but Turmarrov is keeping busy.
Turmarrov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Turmarrov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turmarrov drops an elbow to the side of Shrute's head.
Shrute tries to kick Turmarrov off but Turmarrov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Shrute has hold of Turmarrov's hands but Turmarrov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Still in half guard, Turmarrov seems content to control.
Turmarrov lands with a punch from half guard.
Shrute is rocked!
Turmarrov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Shrute tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Turmarrov!
