And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunman tries for a takedown but Musumeci sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Musumeci half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Musumeci shoots in for a takedown but Gunman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gunman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gunman duly obliges.
Gunman leaves Musumeci with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Musumeci sets himself, and Gunman steps forward looking for the clinch! Musumeci avoids it this time.
Gunman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Musumeci tries to avoid it but Gunman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Musumeci to the ground. Musumeci escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gunman misses with a wild combination.
Musumeci fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gunman avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikey Musumeci. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
