Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Ferreira (ranked 4284 p4p, 4211 weight class) and Folkmar Stufsson (ranked 445 p4p, 440 weight class). Charles Ferreira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charles Ferreira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Folkmar Stufsson! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stufsson scores with a decent looking hook. Stufsson throws the left hand but Ferreira avoids the punch easily. Ferreira seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Ferreira looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stufsson! Ferreira scores with a couple of short elbows. Ferreira lands a decent elbow from side control.
Ferreira decides to stand back up. Stufsson tries to clinch there but Ferreira circles away.
Ferreira drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stufsson sprawls and moves away. Stufsson cracks a nice hook into Ferreira's ribs.
Ferreira takes the fight into the clinch. Stufsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Still in the clinch, Stufsson scores with a nice short uppercut. Ferreira is trying to pull guard but Stufsson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Ferreira tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stufsson avoids it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A nice left hand lands by Stufsson.
Ferreira fails to pull guard.
Stufsson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Stufsson stops a takedown attempt from Ferreira.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Ferreira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferreira is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ferreira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ferreira looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ferreira postures up in Stufsson's guard and throws a big left but Stufsson blocks it. Ferreira sitting in guard here, content to control.
Ferreira gets to his feet. Stufsson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferreira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stufsson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ferreira manages to mount him!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferreira lands a nice shot to the head. Stufsson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Ferreira throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Stufsson has his hands clasped together but Ferreira breaks the hold and Stufsson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Ferreira!
