Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Milan Kerkermann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Drew Bones!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerkermann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bones circles away.
Bones steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kerkermann.

Bones pulls guard successfully.
Kerkermann pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bones is keeping the position for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kerkermann postures up in Bones's guard and throws a big left but Bones blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerkermann wants to control from the top but Bones keeps moving.

Kerkermann tries to free his leg and advance position but Bones is retaining full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Bones is pushing Kerkermann's head away, looking to escape. Kerkermann manages to hold on to the position though.
Kerkermann tries to score with some ground and pound. Bones controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
You can see the frustration on Bones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bones tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kerkermann is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bones has escaped the position, nice work there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kerkermann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bones tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Bones regains half guard.
Bones tries to roll over but Kerkermann keeps him under control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bones won't allow Kerkermann to pass to mount.
Bones trying to hold on to Kerkermann's head to control him but Kerkermann postures up.
Bones felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Bones dives in and scores a takedown into Kerkermann's guard.

Kerkermann bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bones's guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Drew Bones will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kerkermann's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kerkermann defends well and Bones ends up having to push Kerkermann into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kerkermann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bones but Bones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bones throws a right hand that Kerkermann ducks under and follows up with a left that Kerkermann also avoids with ease.
Kerkermann walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Bones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kerkermann just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Kerkermann misses the target.
Milan Kerkermann is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kerkermann shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bones closes the distance and clinches up with Kerkermann, looking for a takedown. Bones pushes Kerkermann against the cage but Kerkermann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bones dives in for a single leg takedown but Kerkermann sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bones sizes up Kerkermann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Drew Bones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kerkermann dives in and grabs Bones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bones pushes down on Kerkermann's head and hops out.
Bones shoots in and drives through. Kerkermann sprawls well.
Bones takes one to the side of the head.
Bones throws a head kick that misses.
Kerkermann throws a series of punches but Bones moves out of range.

Bones tries a knee to the head but Kerkermann blocks it.
Bones looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Bones manages to pull guard.
Bones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kerkermann is staying active underneath Bones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kerkermann is looking for a sweep. Bones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bones is looking to stall here but Kerkermann recovers full guard.
Bones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kerkermann paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kerkermann throws a punch but it's blocked by Bones.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Milan Kerkermann.
I think Bones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
