The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelbey lands with a hook. Mccall tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mccall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shelbey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Shelbey.
Shelbey slaps away a takedown attempt from Mccall, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shelbey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Shelbey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mccall.
Mccall blocks a leg kick.
Shelbey connects with a nice looking jab.
Mccall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shelbey defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deacon Mccall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shelbey lands a left and a right that send Mccall crashing to the mat, dazed. Shelbey thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mccall is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shelbey fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Mccall to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Mccall looks to clinch but Shelbey throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Mccall taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
