Gates turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gates manages to end up in side control.
Gates is trying to get an arm triangle but Padrilo is defending well.
Gates tries to advance to mount but Padrilo instead regains half guard.
Gates is trying for a kimura here. Padrilo looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gates wins by kimura!
