Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karter Carey (ranked 5293 p4p, 25585 weight class) and Glenn Shoemaker Snow (ranked 485 p4p, 547 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karter Carey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Glenn Shoemaker Snow! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Carey was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Snow lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Snow misses with a series of wild punches.
Snow dives in and scores a takedown into Carey's guard. Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Carey has wrist control. Snow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carey is proving hard to escape from. Carey has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Snow has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Carey is trying to maintain a safe position but Snow gets an underhook and turns Carey into the cage. Carey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Carey's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Carey wants to stall.
Snow lands a nice shot to the body.

Carey wants to break the clinch but can't.

Carey closes the distance and clinches. Carey wants a takedown but no success here.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Snow. Carey stalling in the clinch but Snow improves position. Snow gets underhooks to prevent Carey's takedown attempt.
A nice left hand lands by Snow.
Snow lands a body punch. Snow manages to break the clinch.
Carey wants to clinch but Snow slips to the side and Snow counters with a right hand to the body. Snow shoots in for a takedown but Carey shows good takedown defense. Snow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carey moves out of range of the leg kick from Snow. Carey dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Carey's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karter Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carey closes the distance and clinches up with Snow, looking for a takedown. Carey pushes Snow against the cage but Snow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Carey is breathing heavily. Snow feints a jab promting Carey to slip. Snow then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Carey slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Carey shoots in for a takedown but Snow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carey wants to clinch and Carey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Carey misses the body punch and Snow counters with a three punch combo that has Carey backing up. Carey nods at Snow to acknowledge the strikes. Snow wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Carey throws a combination that misses and Snow counters with a one-two to the body. Carey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carey wants it to stay on the feet. Snow fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Snow lands with a nice combination. Carey backs away looking to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow lands a glancing blow to the side of Carey's head. Carey dodges the punch combination from Snow.
Snow throws a leg kick but Carey checks it. Carey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Carey dodges the punch combination from Snow.
Nice takedown defense from Snow. No joy for Carey on that attempt. Carey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Carey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Snow defends it nicely. Snow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow swats away the attempt to clinch by Carey. Snow throws a counter combo. Carey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carey wants it to stay on the feet. Snow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carey shoots in but no luck this time. Snow is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Carey misses with a low kick as Snow jumps back. Snow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Snow with a poor takedown and Carey counters with a big head kick but Snow shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice takedown defense from Snow. No joy for Carey on that attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Glenn Shoemaker Snow dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Carey fails in his attempt to clinch. Carey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Snow defends well and Carey ends up having to push Snow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A short right from Snow on the inside. Snow looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Snow lands with a light punch inside. Carey misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Carey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Snow smiles and moves away.
Carey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karter Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carey throws a right and a left that Snow avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow throws a series of strikes that have Carey backpedaling.
Snow moves into the clinch successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carey has Snow pressed against the cage, preventing Snow from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Snow is trying to force a seperation but Carey has the dominant position. Carey jumps guard but Snow turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow wants to break free but Carey has control.
Snow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Snow lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Carey backwards. Snow tries for a takedown but Carey manages to get underhooks.

Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Carey is looking for a counter combo. Snow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Carey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Snow closes the distance and pushes Carey back into the cage. Carey jumps guard but Snow stands there with Carey around his waist. Carey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Carey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carey with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Snow showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Snow gets to his feet - Carey follows without any prompting. Glenn Shoemaker Snow seems to be getting the better of the standup. Snow gets a double leg takedown into Carey's guard. Carey is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Snow presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Snow lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Snow wants to break free but Carey has control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carey pulls guard effortlessly. Snow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carey is proving hard to escape from. Carey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snow manages to get himself to full guard.
Carey with a flurry of punches that miss. Carey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Snow keeping moving, preventing Carey from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carey gets to his feet - Snow follows without any prompting. Carey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Snow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carey somewhat. Snow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Snow stuffs the takedown. Carey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snow pinned against the cage. Snow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Glenn Shoemaker Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Snow moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Carey misses with a takedown attempt - Snow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Snow rushes Carey and presses him up against the cage. Carey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Snow pulls his leg out and moves away.

Carey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Karter Carey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A lazy left from Snow finds it's target. Snow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carey avoids it really well and circles away. Carey doesn't manage to clinch there - Snow circles away.
Carey fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Snow steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Carey. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karter Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Carey persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing. Snow moves into the clinch. Carey is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Snow is defending well.

Snow lands a hook that snaps the head of Carey backwards. Carey struggles to land a body shot inside as Snow controls his hands.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Snow creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Carey ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carey no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Snow stands up from Carey's guard - Snow perhaps looking for a knockout. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Snow. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Snow lands a jab to the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Snow as he connects with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No joy there for Carey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown attempt by Carey or perhaps it was just good defense by Snow, which made it look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carey to the mat! Carey manages to get full guard. Snow wants to stand and escape but instead Carey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Glenn Shoemaker Snow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carey wants to stand but Snow has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Carey trying to control but Snow is working from the bottom. Snow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow keeping moving, preventing Carey from controlling successfully. Snow is wriggling around but Carey manages to pass to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carey maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Snow could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Carey has cracked it and Snow is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Carey!
