Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hernando Villalobos (ranked 3489 p4p, 24619 weight class) and Daisy Fresh (ranked 340 p4p, 425 weight class). Villalobos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is El Sonidito. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daisy Fresh!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Villalobos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fresh.
Fresh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Villalobos to score with a decent uppercut.
Villalobos misses with a body shot.
Villalobos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
An inside leg kick from Villalobos misses.
Fresh is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Villalobos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fresh.
Fresh swings for the body but Villalobos moves out of range.
Fresh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Villalobos was well out of range. Poor timing from Fresh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fresh looking to sit in guard and control but Villalobos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Villalobos wants to stand but Fresh is controlling his arm.
Fresh has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Fresh tries to improve position but can't.
Fresh tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Villalobos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fresh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fresh controls Villalobos momentarily but Villalobos frees himself.
Fresh pulls Villalobos in close to prevent any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Villalobos wants to stand but Fresh has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Fresh takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Villalobos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fresh is trying to defend but Villalobos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Villalobos in particular looking to stall.
Villalobos is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Villalobos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Villalobos throws a head kick but Fresh moves out of range.
Villalobos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fresh moves away.
Fresh just misses with a punch to the body.

Nice takedown defense from Villalobos. No joy for Fresh on that attempt.
Villalobos misses with a looping left.
Fresh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Villalobos's guard.
Villalobos is wriggling around but Fresh manages to pass to half guard.
Fresh taking a breather but there's no such thing in a fight! Villalobos has locked on to a kimura from the bottom - he uses it to sweep and is now looking to finish from the top position! He's got it! Fresh has tapped! Great work by Villalobos! Lay and pray doesn't pay, kids! Just remember, you heard it here first.

After winning the bout, Hernando Villalobos thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
