The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sondzia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cueto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cueto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sondzia prevents the takedown attempt.
Sondzia managing to block the knees to the body from Cueto.
Cueto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sondzia just stands there and leans against the cage.

Sondzia displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cueto.
Cueto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cueto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sondzia tries to avoid it but Cueto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sondzia to the ground. Sondzia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sondzia rushes Cueto and presses him up against the cage.
Sondzia stops a takedown attempt from Cueto.
Cueto changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sondzia fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sondzia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Sondzia counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oooooh!!! Sondzia has knocked Cueto down with a huge combo! Sondzia steps away and waves a wobbly Cueto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cueto is rocked!
It looks like Vinny Cueto has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sondzia walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cueto drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sondzia swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cueto's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tanguli Sondzia!
