Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hans Peter Baxxter (ranked 2262 p4p, 2978 weight class) and William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baxxter comes into the arena with Weekend, Scooter blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Hans Peter Baxxter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Hans Peter Baxxter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Baxxter. Wallace misses with a looping right. A jab from Wallace misses. Baxxter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wallace rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Baxxter counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Baxxter. Wallace misses with a double jab
and Baxxter counters with a straight right hand. Wallace tries for a takedown but Baxxter circles away easily and Baxxter counters with a right hand to the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wallace has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Baxxter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace shoots and misses and Baxxter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A decent looking cross lands there for Baxxter. Baxxter moves forwards but Wallace connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baxxter scores with a kick to the body.
William Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace with a lazy takedown attempt and Baxxter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hans Peter Baxxter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Wallace. Wallace works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Wallace closes the distance and clinches up with Baxxter, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes Baxxter against the cage but Baxxter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wallace moves into the clinch. Wallace is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Baxxter can't fight it off and eventually Wallace manages to take the fight to the floor. Baxxter looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Baxxter has his foot on Wallace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wallace works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wallace postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Baxxter seems keen to control Wallace's posture. Baxxter looking to control.
Baxxter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallace on the ground. Wallace pushing down on Baxxter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baxxter trying to control but Wallace postures up.
Wallace is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ground and pound from Wallace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wallace passes to full mount! Wallace looking to isolate an arm here. Baxxter doesn't see it coming and as Wallace extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Wallace!
