And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 11 losses; Klaas Jan Tijhoff!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tijhoff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sixty Five avoids it really well and circles away.

Tijhoff wants to control but Sixty Five postures up.
Tijhoff sneaks back into half guard.
Sixty Five trying to pass the guard but Tijhoff defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tijhoff looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sixty Five seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

You can see the frustration on Sixty Five's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sixty Five tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tijhoff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

A lull in the action here as Tijhoff stalls from top position.
Tijhoff wants to control for a moment but Sixty Five uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Tijhoff keeps control of the position easily here as Sixty Five tries to buck him off.
It looks like Tijhoff might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tijhoff's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Sixty Five is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Freddy\'s Grappling Institute, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Sixty Five looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round.
Tijhoff has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sixty Five's body.
Sixty Five tries to roll but Tijhoff sticks to his back.
Tijhoff slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Tijhoff tries to keep control of the position but Sixty Five is staying busy.
Tijhoff really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sixty Five.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tijhoff keeps control of the position as Sixty Five tries to break free.

Tijhoff wins on points by 11 to 4.
