Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McGee (ranked 2345 p4p, 2355 weight class) and Kyoji Horiguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horiguchi has chosen Gats ยท Susumu Hirasawa BERSERK Original Soundtrack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jimmy McGee has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyoji Horiguchi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi walks into a jab.
Horiguchi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Horiguchi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McGee lunges at Horiguchi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Horiguchi's hand.
McGee connects with a jab.
Horiguchi is rocked!
McGee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Horiguchi shoots in for a takedown but McGee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McGee scores with a hook.
Horiguchi is still on wobbly legs! Can McGee finish him?
A left lands for McGee.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGee throws a body shot but no joy.
Horiguchi raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
McGee lands with a hook. Horiguchi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Horiguchi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Horiguchi.
Horiguchi seems to have recovered his senses.
Horiguchi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGee. McGee obviously looking to wear him down.
Horiguchi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Horiguchi dodges the punch combination from McGee.
McGee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Horiguchi is out of range and McGee settles back down.
Horiguchi misses with a head kick.
Horiguchi slips under a jab.
McGee lands a jab to the nose.
McGee scores with a body shot.
McGee keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A jab from McGee finds it's way through Horiguchi's defenses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGee drops Horiguchi with a naaaaasty hook - Horiguchi is in real trouble here! McGee dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
