Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Sockje (ranked 3715 p4p, 2664 weight class) and John Osterman (ranked 140 p4p, 125 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andre Sockje!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Osterman!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurstr�m and Roosa J�rvil�inen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sockje dives in and scores a takedown into Osterman's guard.
Osterman wants to improve his position but instead Sockje has moved into half guard.

Sockje gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Sockje forces Osterman back against the cage and clinches.
Sockje is pushing Osterman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Osterman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sockje is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osterman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sockje defends well and Osterman ends up having to push Sockje into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sockje shoots in for a double leg but Osterman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Osterman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sockje avoids it really well and circles away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sockje leaves Osterman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sockje throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Sockje gets control of Osterman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sockje will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sockje will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Osterman throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Osterman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Osterman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sockje paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sockje knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Osterman on the ground.
